Does anyone here delt with the above compnay , they are located in floria . They are collecting for at&t wireless acount - I send out 3 dispute lettrer via certified mail got no response , Send ITS 10 days ago so far no news , Dispute with transunion/experian/equifax came back verified ... spoke with the manager and he dtold me to get A police report for identiy theft ? any clue
Do you believe the account is not yours? Did they provide any indication of what the account is for: account number, name of person on the account, date opened, date delinquent, etc?
I've dealt with them before. File suit in small claims. I don't know where you are and how much the alleged debt is, but they will have to decide what they want to do:delete the listing and close the account, pay for someone to fly from Florida to where you are and put someone up in a hotel(this costs money, remember) to answer the suit or pay out AND delete. They'll answer when they get the summons.
