Bankrate.com (http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/cc/20011115a.asp?prodtype=cc) reported today that "consumers whose credit rating is damaged because of an error by a credit-reporting agency have only two years from the time the error is made to file suit."

This came as a result of a unanimous supreme court decision which upheld an existing federal law. However, the article went on to say that "the time limit, upheld by the Supreme Court, does not apply if a credit-reporting agency has willfully misrepresented information." Wouldn't that be hard to prove?
