Discussion forum at Motley Fool. I believe it was a passing reference made by LizardKing (operating under the same scintillating pseudonym (Say that three times fast!) on the fool boards.
From the discussion board on CreditCardFreedom.com Someone mentioned that the people on this board were aggressively trying to change their credit histories. Caught my attention : )
I did a search for "Providian" on one of the standard search engines. Some of the results were quite argumentative and I found them entertaining. So I went to the source, i.e. Creditnet.
I was able to learn the small nuances here on this board, that I couldn't find in a book or on other discussion groups. No one was able to answer any specific questions about credit repair until I came here. Yes, I am one of those people who has completely cleaned their credit, three clean reports all in the 730-760s. Not bad for someone who had over twenty negative collection accounts and 4 judgements on his report 2 1/2 years ago. How things can change when you apply a little effort. I never had to sue anyone, but I did apply a whole lot of pressure to those who were causing me pain. As for the judgements, they were all vacated. From the 500's to the 700's, I won't stop till I get over 800!!!
Doing a search for 'Lexington Law Firm' after several months of extremely crappy service and no positives from them. I wish I found you sooner. Maybe a few more <meta tags> on your pages listing key words...it will bump you up higher on the search pages. You can also add 'keywords' to banners and pictures to get a better search result. Great site, though, when the 'weather' is good. Shawn
I was referred by another new poster who just found the site....And I'm glad he referred me...this has been a wealth of information!
Cardreport.com, Someone mentioned it in one of the posts over there. I *think* the credit goes to Breeze??? KHM
I was reading the posts on the cardratings.com website and somebody (Breeze?) posted that this was a great site!
I was on www.credmania.com and I started following links to other sites and other people improving their credit and....sha-Bam I ended up here. I have learned more in 3 weeks than almost a year on the other sites...................
It's interesting that Greg Fisher found CreditNet at bayhouse.com, I first clicked on the CreditNet link at http://creditscoring.com
A good friend who is a member of the board confided to me about their credit trouble and about the board. Now I am a member too. I wish I had known about this 5 years ago.
I read about this board on a message on the CreditMania website. I'm glad I found out about this website. Thanks!!!!! HeatherB
Membership is free. Not being a member is costly . How can we get the word out so more folks can benefit.
I found this site on google I belive. I was looking at a credit repair website and there was a link to this site. I checked it out and I've been reading daily ever since. That was in late January I believe. Before I read up on credit repair, I didn't even know there was such a thing and had no idea you could dispute things on your credit report either. Amazing how little CRAs and creditors tell you about your consumer rights and stuff. I had no idea.
