I have belonged to Credit Watch and to Credit Expert for the last few months, and the memberships have been very helpful in trying to get rid of the inaccuracies on my CR's. By that, I mean I at least know what's there, and knowledge of the EQ and Exp entries is the first (and second) (and third ) step in trying to deal with the inaccuracies. Is there a service that is tied to TransUnion that I can join, so that I can see my TU report on line, as often as I want? and if so, does it include some access to a scoring explanation as do CE and CW ??? I don't mind paying to join a service, since I imagine that this cleanup effort will continue more than a month's worth of time. I could sign up for the 30 day offer, if they have one, and then let the membership fully kick in. Thanks again, Ms.TX
www.worthknowing.com will give you access to your TU report. Ignore the score as it is useless, but the information is helpful. It is free. -Peace, Dave
Yes, it is a soft inquiry. Any time you pull your own file it should be listed as soft. I've never had a problem with worthknowing listing it anything other than soft.
Also I'm reading the terms of agreement. Does that mean they'll send me promotional offers even though I've placed a promotional block with all 3 CRAs?
