The other day I received a letter from a collection agency I was disputing with on behalf of my Mom (and it was a really unfair, erroneous listing). It said they were removing the listing from all of the credit reporting agencies! It felt good. I thought for sure I was going to have pull out the big guns and go to battle, but they caved after I sent the second DV. After the first DV I sent the sent me this application my Mom had signed over eight years ago--not proper debt valication! Anyway, I just wanted to share my resluts. You get a lot of disappointments when trying to fix your credit, but you also get moments like these that make it worthwhile--and I owe it all to these boards and you guys. Thanks. El
