O.k. so I've come to the conclusion that I no longer need the Citi Gold AA card. I initially wanted it to build frequent flyer miles. I have since accumulated 30k FF miles on American but needless to say I probably won't be flying anywhere anytime soon. I wanted to wait until all miles posted to my account and they have. I will now call Citi and transfer to Platinum Select w/ no annual fee an a lower apr than what I currently have on the AA card (13.9%).

Just got off the phone. The rep stated that once I activate my new card, my old one will be shut down. The apr is still high at 13.4% but he said to call back after I get the card activated to see if there is something lower available for me. My new card will be printed tomorrow and sent to me in 5 business days. The rep was SUPER NICE and exceeded my expectations. He also changed the address on both my Citi cards. Go CITI!!!!!! :)
