I just received a New Alert from TC. Alert Type: New Account Date: 4/26/07 Description: Direct Loans Reporting Agency: Equifax I got really worried because Direct Loan is Dept of Ed. I have an account with them but it's been paid on time, never late since 2001. So I called EQU............they had no new information about this account, no changes, no updates.......nothing at all. I called TC and they see the alert but couldn't explain why I got it because they didn't see any changes to this account. They were going to forward the information to the technical dept. Needless to say I called Exp and TU just to be sure and they have no new information about this account and no changes negative or otherwise to any other account. Just wanted to share this to be cautious of TC and their system errors.
I got 2 notices today from TC about EQ, they reported my last name 2 times. That was the entire alert. I've no clue whats going on with them.
Equ doesn't have any new information. I called them and they said everything is the same. No changes.
