    I was reading a reply you posted in another thread, and saw that you said that in PA we are exempt from wage garnishments except for child support and taxes. Where did you find this info? I didn't know that, but it sure makes me happy!

    This info was told to me by my attorney when I spoke to her about assest protection.

    PA is one of the hardest states for a person to collect on a judgement and as such she informed me that many credit card companies won't even bother to sue an individual in PA because of this.

    She did say there is legislation on the table and they "credit card companies lobbyists and others" have tried to get PA to allow garnishment of wages but it has been either delayed, kicked back and is not likely to pass let alone get signed into law.

    PA is one of only a handful of states that do not allow wage garnishment except for owing taxes and child support.

    As always check with your attorney on this.
