*sigh* I know this is probably really tacky to do this here, but I've already exhausted my other resources. I am selling a used clarinet in very good shape and would like to know if anyone's interested. I know people have children and such and it would be a good instrument to begin learning the clarinet on. It's the one I started with! I'm selling it for $295.00 including shipping and handling, which I think is a good deal. If anyone's interested, please post here or e-mail me at fingrrrl@yahoo.com for more information. Thanks!

all? Some music shops will sell things on consignment. Have you called the local music shops that re-sell used instruments? If so, sorry, you did say all, I was just checking.

No need to apologize..and yes I have...what I've been offered to next to ludicrous...$40, $50...they want to "take" me and then make a 200% profit or something. Ridiculous. Oh well...it did't hurt to ask here...

    Wow that IS ludicrous!

Got another idea...do your schools accept donations of instruments for kids who can't afford them? If so, you may be able to write the entire amount off (full resale value like a car donation) and make some good for a child who needs something good.

Ya that sounds like a nice thing to do because i wouldn't spend that much $ on a musical instrument for my daughter..She can just go into sports or something..The sad thing is she just started school and she loves musice too..,But wife going to put her in classes for dancing..
