Received the old "requires further processing".....was given a referance number. Checked today, got 700 dollar limit!! That's my retail card for my FICO model. My credit has gotten significantly better since my rebuilding process. Three online approvals this month, CHASE, Citi, and now Target. Not bad, coming from an Associates, Cap one secured, and......drumroll please.........Crooks Country Bank cardholder. Credit repair rewards you well if you put some time into it. Good luck to all Matt Cross Country Phone Payment $5 Cross Country credit line increase $100 Calling up Cross Country and telling them to shove thier card up their ass..........priceless
Wow! $700? That's great! You'll love Target. It's a good card to have. I'm glad they gave me a second chance after I charged off $300+ dollars and paid their collection agency back in payments. Didn't think they would approve me but they did! And to top it off.......they DELETED the paid chargeoff of my reports!
I have to admit I am really happy at the initial limit. Already been checking out the flyer I got in Sundays paper for a possible "break in" purchase. That's it for me applying for awhile, don't need any more inquiries (have a hard from Privista that they say thay will remove and from Nextcard that they agreed to remove as well).
I had a millionaire from Florida in the store Sunday that applied for a Target Card. He had one of those Preferred Customer cards, you know, the kind you can get when you have a buttload of money. Well, he was approved for $200. His friends were making fun of him for it. It was kind of cute. SO, regardless of income, he probably had too much available credit.
Congratulations, Matt. How you got a $700 limit, I don't know. I only got $300 after applying last week. They don't ask for income online, so I guess I'll go along with the "available credit" theory. That's one good thing about these stingy subprime banks: at least they don't give you so much credit that it crowds out normal credit for which you would otherwise qualify. (When the time comes, of course, and apparently your time has come.)
