I just logged on to check my account balance/transactions on my Target guest card and I noticed that they INCREASED MY CREDIT LINE FROM $200 TO $500.

I've only had the card since Oct. 2003 so I was very surprised!! Plus, my BK 7 was discharged in June '03.

    Great news, huh?

PS: Do you think they'll offer me a Target VISA soon??

hard to say as I think Target Visa has really tighten the belt on their requirements.

When I first got my Visa from them, I had a bk-13 on record but still got a 5k CL. Got the CL increased to 6.9k and nothing in over 12 months.

    I deeped sixed the card.

    Best regards,
    Mirage

In my experiece, Target Guest Card will increase to $500 and then you are stuck there for the rest of your natural life! LOL I closed them..I hate them..I wish they would report it as closed, I wish their accounting was accurate..blah...sorry, I'm not a target fan but I know it can help build credit and I'm hoping your experience is MUCH better than mine and my husband's.

    first congratz :)

second, when in oct did you get it, and was it increased before or after you made Jan's statements payment... :)

I got mine in oct too, and have been waiting for the 2+ month increase with baited breath. :)

My Target Guest card started at 200 but is now 900.00CL. I've had it since 1998 and have not carried a balance (Paid in full whenever I used it). I tried to get their Visa card a few months back...DECLINED me cause I had too much credit.
I thought being a faithful customer had it's ups but I guess not!
