Just found out how to go up twice as fast without a hard inquiry. every 91 days call for your line increase. get your whopping $100. then ask for a supervisor. they can give $100 more without an inquiry. any more than $200 at a time and there's going to be an inquiry and it'll be HARD. But at least this way you can go up $800 a year not $400 a year. and with $800 a year increases... you can buy the whole store
Does anyone know the criteria for this card? I know it's simple to get but I was denied a year ago. I'm wondering if I qualify now. However, I don't want the hard inq if i will be denied again. I'm still furious that mbna hit me twice for the denied apple loan.
Nice tip Marie! I just called and did it. I first did the automated $100 then got on the line and spoke to a rep. Stated that I wanted $100 more dollars so that I could purchase some wedding presents (teehee!). I also stated that I didn't want any inquiries. He said please hold.....came back and was like, o.k. your limit is now $700....anything else?
Never mind....I called the 800 #. Didn't work for me. OH Well. My fault....found out that since I was a day late in paying my bill = no increase.
mother2, They give you increase $100 every 3 months. By the way, you make sure they don't report your account late. That's what happened to my brother.When he paid late on his Sears bills and they reported late to his TransUnion credit report. He told them I paid them late fee and they shouldn't report as late. It was his first time and the payment lost in the mail. Ron.

Just checked my account, it appears they gave me a $200 increase 2 months ago (without asking or telling me...). I only had the card about 3-4 months at the time. I charge something every month, and always pay in full. -Roman
I got the same 200 increase about 3 mos after getting the card as well. You can call them and find out the day you got the last increase. then count a minimum of 91 days after that (start counting the day after the increase) and you're golden.
Killer, They made 2 inquiries on my Experian credit report a year ago and I got approved for $5500. I think they hit 2 inquiries whether you got approved or not. Ron.
