I just finished applying for the TARGET VISA and chose the option to NOT apply for the 'guest card only' (checkbox UNCHECKED)

I was able to get approved for $10,000!! I am assuming they pulled EXP.

    Questions:
    1) Why did it say Target Guest Card Info, $10k and gave me a 16 digit number with a picture of a red guest card? Does this mean I did NOT get the VISA? The screen right before asked me to accept the conditions of the Target VISA but the one giving me the account number, limit, etc. says guest card? Confused, can anyone clarify?

    2) I've heard of you guys calling and asking for higher limits before activating or using the card for the first time.. should I try for that and try and get $15k limit or $20k?

    Thanks again everyone!

$10,000 IS NOT A TARGET GUEST CARD!!!

I have NOT known anybody to get more than $200-$1,000 on the GUEST CARD...

Thanks for clearing that up George.. my card IS 4352-XXXXXXXX

So I guess that is just a generic screen that just says 'congratulations' for the target card.

Cool, another card for me!! =)

Any idea if I can try and up this limit like you guys did over the phone when calling before I get it? Should I state business as a reason and that I will be buying 20 large TV's for my fitness center I own?

I don't know about increases since you have $10,000...maybe if you had $8,000 they MIGHT go to $10,000...but more than $10,000 so soon, I don't know.

What interest rate did you get?

    You didn't print the page?

You can get it off your first bill, then...9.90%~12.90%~15.90%~18.90%
...or you can "SEE" the first bill when it closes on-line.

I got my 15.90% reduced to 12.90% (I TOLD THEM THE TRUTH...I DON'T PAY OVER 9.99%)...might be able to get 9.90% after 2 months???

CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE...said the account is too new...(maybe 2-3 months)
