I applied for a Target Guest Card online last week and got the message saying that my application requires further processing. Well, I got a denial letter yesterday saying that they were unable to confirm information I provided on my applicationâ?¦ it doesnâ??t tell me exactly WHAT they canâ??t confirm but then gives me an address that I can send additional information to help them â??confirm my credit historyâ? What should I send them? Anybody have any experience with this? btw â?¦ they pulled EQ and my score was (before the inquiry) 636 Thanks!
The same thing happened to me. You need to send them a copy of you telephone bill (it doesn't matter whos name on it as long as its you home address) and a utility bill. After I sent this in.. I had to call them back.... but I got approved. You just have to stay on them. BUT beware... I told them NOT to pull my credit report again.... and they did! I have now had to write to them to have it removed. Good Luck

I took your advice and sent them copies of our utility and phone bills... but, today I received another letter from them saying that they were unable to verify my phone and/or address with the directory service! The only thing I can guess to explain this, is that our phone is under my fiance's name ... but I applied for a cap1 secured card 4 months ago and was approved ... same address! I don't get it! I wonder if calling them would even help??
