target question

    I have a target visa, can I apply for the regular target card and combine the credit limit with my target visa?

    I don't think so since one is a retail and the other is a bank card. I also was informed by another credinetter that Target won't combine two Target Visa's together. I haven't called myself to find out yet.

    actually... YOU CAN COMBINE THEM :)

    I am certain of this...

    for once... what's in our best interest is available to you. First call and see if you can get a credit line increase on your Target guest card... then on the visa... then combine them ;)

    Marie- are you sure of this I thought the Visa was issued by Retailers National bank and the guest card was issued by Target. I don't have a target guest card but I will apply for one if I can use it to increase my visa limit.

    Both are through Retailers National Bank. I certainly hope Maria is right. I have a Target guest card and a Target Visa and it would be great to combine the two! I think I will call on Monday to find out.

    YES :) I am certain of this one ;)

    I have both cards (both are issued by RNB) and when I couldn't get a line increase on the visa it was suggested by both a cs and a SUPERVISOR that I could combine the guest card credit line into the Visa if I wanted to... but I need the Target dept store card in the mix so I declined the offer...


    call them yourself and ask ;)

    okay. Sounds like a nice back door way to increase the limit. I wonder how many times this can be done. Thanks for the info.

    I just tried to combine my guest card with my visa. cust service at tel 1-888-755-5856 says they do not do this,.they are willing to transfer the balance only to the visa and close the guest card.
    do you have a different telephone or contact name that you spoke with that told you this could be done?
    I want to call them again...
