im thinking of applying for a target retail card.
what luck do you folks think i'll have with a CE score of 609 and a few derogs left on my report?
I'd like to make something good come of this score *its the highest one I have* before something comes back or gets added out of nowhere

    thanks

i applied for target when i hit about 610 with a few derogs. Target pulls equifax almost always.... you probably need 620+ to be approved.

sorry, I know the feeling :(

I was declined until I hit 669. Heck I was declined with a 651 and no derogs.

I think I had about a 630 FICO and an old BK from '98. They gave me a $200 limit store card...

My mom had a $400 store card she got in '98 and used a few times. Just this week they sent her a replacement VISA with $3,000 limit )

Boy did she need it too, her utilization was at 42%, killing her score. She has NO major derogs, just one 30 day late from over a year ago, and her score is only 630 according to EFX FICO. I think it's the utilization, and a few cards are not reporting the credit limit (

I had a 693 with 2 BKs (93 and 98) and I got a $700 Visa. I understand that the approve the store card for lower ficos. Put everying in dispute and then apply. Your fico will be higher while in dispute.
