I ordered Target Smart Card reader last Thursday and the reader arrived through mail today. I haven't seen my Target Smart Visa in my mail. Inside the box it came with Read Me First, Install Software CD,Installation Guide and translucent card reader with red target logo on the top. Even though they don't give me the card and I got free reader from them. I'm surprise they send me that quick and they told me 8-10 weeks. I have to wait for my First USA Smart Card reader and Fleet Bank Fusion Card reader for 6-8 weeks last year. I can't try my new reader without my card today and just put the card reader at the corner. Ron.
I installed mine. Pretty useless really. There is a cool flashy green light that looks nifty in the dark.
So, where can you get online access to your Target Account? I have been calling the 800 number. Any suggestions? Plus the reader is about worthless as mentioned.
Re: Target Smart Card Reader Arrive The Target Smart Card reader is another useless piece of junk and is sitting at the corner like my First USA and Fusion Card reader. Just as I said the reader is free and why not get another one? The other two reader hasn't connected my computer even once. My brother has American Express Blue connected to the computer once and he disconnected from the computer after a month because the bright blinking light of the reader started to annoy you.

Re: Target Smart Card Reader Arrive MT, I haven't tried if my other two cards with the Target Smart Card reader but you still need the software to use it.My computer didn't have too may USB or parallel port to connect all of my reader. I'm sure the card reader got the same model number and I remember it is all Gemplus smart card reader. Have you tried the other two cards with Target Smart card reader? Ron.
