I read all the post on how easy it is to apply so i said "ok one more (well really 2 more tried for the Citi Smart card for bt) time before the new year is out.... GOT APPROVED!!!! the only bad thing is the apr is 18.9% but they gave me $10,000!!! I plan only to use this for very small items that i can pay off in full each month ANy ideas on when i should ask for a lower apr???? Got all my scores to and im not sure what they pulled but i got my $10,000 limit based on these scores... TU = 682 Equifax = 699 Experian = 690 Happy New Year All
I got mine lowered before I received the card, they will usually go down one tier, so they should give you 15.9. You got the approval on your score, your limit was based on your income.
The cash advance limit should be the same but of course the APR is much higher... "bailey" I just called cs and they adv they cld not change my apr until 6 months. After that they can review the account. That tells me "Ok only small purchaes and pay off within billing cycle" This will just be another leave on the books, build score type of card.
CCJr, Congradulations. The cash advance limit is the half of your credit limit of your Target Visa. Ron.
I don't know what they pulled yet, but I can pretty much guarantee income has nothing to do with C/L...either that or they have some sort of artificial intelligence that drops a zero from 6 figure incomes. .....I got 1500 and am pretty bummed by the CL (unless they pulled exp in which case I should be grateful, with a '99 7.....).
NOT Exp....at least no inqy has shown up yet.....I assume that means efx (cal., online). Maybe the c/l is *inversely* proportion to income.

Love, I live in Texas. Target Visa pulled credit report from Equifax and State Farm Bank pulled credit report from Experian. Ron.
RNB Target likes to pull from Equifax or Experian, so if it's not on Experian I would bet it was Equifax. they pulled Equifax for me.
i've been dwelling on the low CL all day so i decided to apply again (i actually reduced my income in the insane belief truth might be stranger than fiction).....this time i got the further review message so apparently 1 card is the limit. also, the CL doesn't seem to be score based since they gave me 15.9
As far as the income i put in what i make at my 9-5 plus my extar income from the internet. I put $3400 a month which is pretty close to true
