Call them back & escalate it to a supervisor/retention that WILL lower the rate a level. I called last week to get mine lowered & told "NO".....until I told them to CANCEL the account. At that point I was given a supervisor(when I asked),& he completed my request on the spot. Sister Girl

When I applied in the store(11/02),was written on the temp agreement 18.9;called IMMEDIATELY to reduce to 15.9. Then I waited until my May invoice/pymt posted to request LOWER APR(not C/L increase....because line is sufficient & I carry a balance to negotiate my intended request). All was in effect by the time my account billed on the 15th,& my call occured on the 10th. Sister Girl

Annie, I waited until my 6 mth mark because I felt that should be sufficient time for a established point on this card. Sister Girl
sam, They lower my rate from 15.9 to 12.9% in the first month( Need to call a couple times for talking to the right person. After fourth month they lower my rate to 9.9% fixed. No limit increase because the computer automatically increase your limit after six months. No increase for my account yet. My account was opened in Dec of last year. Ron.
