    Hello All!

This board has helped me a great deal since I join in September. I would like to give some information that maybe helpful to all.

I contacted Target.com. via Planet Feedback on last night about my dissatisfaction with the Target Visa credit limit of $500 and 18.9 APR. I received a response on today thanking me for letting them know I was dissatisfied. The email also asked me to call Credit Service to discuss the matter.

I speak with a rep in Credit Services for the Target Visa Account (1.888.755.5856) and he agreed to increase the credit limit to $1500 and lower the APR to 15.9. You must have card in hand and activated before any changes can be made to account.

The rep was extremely helpful and attentive to my request. Target Visa is alright by me:)

    Thank goodness for Planet Feedback.

high five! Monica you are right!

I just got mine upped to $1000 and my interest rate lowered to 15.9%

I like your perseverance, because I talked to two reps on Sat. and they would not budge and the rep I got tonight was sooo nice.

    Thank you for the info!

    Cypri:)

    Hi Cypri,
What number did you use to contact Target. I need to bump my $500 limit up.
    Thanks!

    You go Cypri!
From what I have read a limit under $1000 does nothing to help you FICO score. I take it you have received your card to get an increase.

Actually no Monica, they gave me an account number and expiration online and I just called up and activated it. It was pretty simple.

Like Cypri, I tried to activate my VISA before it comes to my house by getting the account number from the customer service rep. No dice. However, on that same call I asked to have my $500 limit raised and she said that the card she showed on the screen was my temporary card for the first usage only, which she can not change until I activate and use that card. Then I will get my permanent card in the mail. Once that is in hand she suggested I phone back and ask for an increase and my limit should be ALOT higher. I wonder how much is ALOT?

The rep was very polite and helpful.

Just thought others would find this interesting.
