just got a letter from target saying they closed my account intil I can fax them a phone bill, drivers licence and ss#. Im glad I didnt try using the card yet!! I activated with a rep on the phone. Im surprised she didnt ask me about this. My phone is still under my maiden name.

The same happened to me and to some friend. I will call next monday to see if they will reopen the account or what!. Go figure It's a 8500 limit card!.
Geo, Asked them to verify the information from your Target card when you're calling on Monday. I think they have all your information on your old Target card. Ron.
I think Retailers National Bank (Target's credit underwriter) is having trouble with its online approval system. Simply, they disagree with the lines the system is offering based on the credit review. So, what can they do? Inconvenience you. If you want the card, I would comply with their request. Remit the information and watch your ratios drop faster than a brigade of paratroopers on a bin Laden dinner party. CardKid
