Has anyone gotten a target Visa with a prior BK-7 and a credit score around 605? I really want to get one but not sure if I want to apply yet, afraid I may get turned down. I have re-established, 3 cards with Capital one, 2 of them at 0.00 bal, pay in full monthly, and 1 revolving with them , plus my Getsmart with revolving balance. I want to replace my getsmart. Plus car loan, never late on anything since BK. 0 Inquiries in 6 months on 2 bureaus, only 1 inq on the other. My BK is 2 years old. I do have a mervyns and target opened since 1994, Target was recently paid off from 1400.00 balance, now 100.00 Bal, and Mervyns is at 0.00. What do you think, wait another few months, or try? I just wanted to hear if others got it with similar credit. J
I applied with a bk-13 on file. I am in the 6th year of my bk. Not sure which score you are reporting from. I was approved for the Target Visa with a 6k limit last Nov. My scores from TU and EQ were approx. 670-680 and my CE score at that time was about 620. So yes you can get an approval for a Target Visa with a bk on file but I think your FICO should be a little higher. Best regards, Mirage

Jamee25, Target Visa almost approved anyopne applying for one. It is easy to get. I had Target Card for over 2 years and I hope that they can convert mine to Visa. They didn't convert mine to one. I applied for one and I got approved. I saw someone with neg and judgement and they got approve. It shouldn't be hard to get. Ron.
HOLY CRAP!!! I just got the Guest Card! $300 limit!!! Instant Approval!!!! I was denied the last 2 times I applied for it, and finally got it!!!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO I'm going to fall off the chair now.....
I am SO happy for you girl!!!!! You deserve it! And $300 to start? COOL! I got $200 but 4 months later they pushed it to $500!

Ng, That's what happened to me when I applied for mine. I checked back after 30 mins or so and I found out I was approved Target Visa with$8500 at 15.9 %APR. That's why it is not denied. Ron.

Checked my app status and here is what I got: Your application requires further processing. You will receive a response in the mail within 2 weeks Looks like a wasted inquiry & decline. I will have to be content with the red quest card for now.
ng, That's exactly same message what I got two weeks ago. After half-hour ago, I checked back the status of the application and I found out that I got approved for Target Visa. By the way, I got turned down by the system at the first time. I re-apply again after half a month later. Ron.
Jamee25, I didn't know what score that I have. All I know my TransUnion score is 648. By the way they pulled credit report from Equifax. Ron
