Is it possible for me to file my federal tax return on-line without hiring a vendor? If so where can i do this?

I thought you could buy software...comes with the on-line access.

you can get hard copies for free, $7.95 to e-file.

It is not as user friendly as TurboTax (slower processing, kicks you out sometimes - don't use Back key on browser ever, and doesn't explain the itemized deductions as well), but you can't argue with the price.

We've used TurboTax for three years running now to file both federal and state. Works great!

I agree Turbo Tax is great and if you make under 25k per year they will waive the fee.

Can someone please check the turbo tax site for me? Please click the premium turbo tax online web selection. I'm getting an error and it won't access the software.
