    Sounds easy but it's not.
The industry makes all the rules.
They are always adding new ones.
They change them all the time.
Even if one ever gets their reports corrected it may not stay that way long because of that!
When it comes right down to it there really is no such thing as a correct report.

    PROVE ME WRONG:
Show me just one person who has a correct report at all three CRAs !

Lizardking gave me some info on another post to get rid of our BK.

I want to drop this issue of the EIN# and /or Taxpayer ID#. It is not appropriate for my wife and I anyway. If it is true that somewhere, someone has been prosecuted for applying for credit under an EIN#, I do not want the responsibility to encourage anyone to do this.

Thank you all for your input. The most significant thing I learned here was that when you are a small business owner and apply for credit, that the creditor will still ask for your SS#. Now we know. When we get this small business going, we will keep it in mind.

I don't regret bringing this up as I learned things here. That is the purpose of the board.

1*If your Reports aren't accurate and complete can your score be correct?
2* I have seen them even use the good things against you.

I agree with you and Lizard. The CRA's don't hesitate to put wrong and harmful info on our credit reports. Dispute everything that is negative. It's only playing the game the CRA's have set up themselves.
