Does anyone have any info regarding all of the restrictions that each card company places on teaser rates? I read one the other day from Chase that stated any late pays on any account (I am assuming not just theirs) would result in them increasing the interest rate. Can they really check that kind of thing? How would they know if i was late with another company and increase my interest rate?

They do "account review" inquiries on your credit reports every once in a while. If they notice any new lates on any account they will raise you to the penalty rate.

I only had a day or so before it was due so no chance it got there on time :((( bye bye 7% hello DEFAULT apr :(((((((
