Hi, Iâ??m just wondering can you order report from ChexSystem and TelCheck like you order from 3 CRAâ??s? And are we able to dispute these records if we find something wrong?
Anyone have some more inputs regarding this?

    Thanks,
    Denny

yes you can get a report just call them and tell them you want your report. They sent me mine quickly. To dispute items you must have proof. They will also ask you for your drivers license # and such.

    To order your ChexSystems report:
    www.chexhelp.com

    To order your Telecheck information:

    TeleCheck Services, Inc.
    5251 Westheimer
    Houston, Texas 77056

    Declined Check Information
    for Check Writers 1-800-366-2425

NOTE: Telecheck does not make it easy to find out what they have in their files. They usually require that you have a declined transaction before they tell you anything. Also, they don't have an online option.

Try calling the number above or writing to their Houston address and include your ID information.

when you get your Chexsystems report, read it VERY closly. I had a couple of inquires that I had no idea who the company was. Called Chexsystems to find out who the comapny was, they flat out refused to tell me anything at all. I said you can't do that under FCRA, the rep went "oh", out me on hold, then the supervisor came on. I asked who the company was, she offered to delete the inquiry, I said ok but still want address and phone#, she just matter of factly said no! I said I'll file a complaint with the FTC and or sue to get it, she said go ahead and then hung up.

I started a paper trail, this is going to be fun :)!

That's why I always get their names first.

Then when I file, I'd send a copy to corporate and put "compliments of Mary J. "Supervisor".

    :)

Yes, you can get a report from Chexsystems. I got mine but it stated actually nothing cause I have nothing to report to them. But I wanted to verify everything was ok. you can go to www.chexhelp.com and look into the link that shows how to order it.

You don't have to prove it's wrong they have to prove it's right

Just to be sure. Do any negatives on these reports have any influence on credit score and if they do would they show up on regular credit report.

    Thanks.

The NEGS. can also be reported to the big 3 CRAs

Basically, TC & CS are separate; just like TU, EQ, & EX.

Just like a change to your TU report doesn't affect your EQ & EX reports; that doesn't preclude the data furnisher from also reporting to EQ & EX.

So... if a company who reported you to TC and/or CS; REALLY wanted to do the most damage (oh, that's right, reporting isn't about doing damage, just providing the most accurate information about you) to you they could also report it to TU, EQ & EX; but the listing on TC & CS do not directly affect your credit reports; unless those listings are also reported to the CRAs.

Just dispute as not mine as you would to a CRA. Worked for me.
