I was wondering if anyone can tell how to go about getting a copy of my telecheck info? I went to their website got a number and called and jist of the conversation was they could help without a code from a store and or a checking account number ( 96 account havent got a clue now)
How can they meet the FCRA requirement that CRAs provide complete reports to consumers, if the consumer must already know what is in the report to request it?
SO I CAN'T FIND OUT IF THERE IS SOME WRONG INFORMATION IN THERE UNLESS I WRITE A CHECK AT A BUSINESS AND GET A DENIAL CODE??? I haven't written a check at a business in MORE THAN 10 YEARS!!!
That is the way I was told but who knows if this is true I am going to try other phone numbers tomorrow I will post the results
they'll provide a report...for a fee i'm sure. They tried to charge me for my report even tho i told them i had a check denied. i had to let the guy know that i knew i was entitled to a free report before he would agree to send it. why do you care about your telecheck report if your checks arent being denied? if your checks are going thru just fine everywhere, then that means they arent reporting anything about you, let alone something inaccurate.
