Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck They probably don't know either and if they did chances are they wouldn't understand it.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck I wouldn't mention anything about the account you are having problems with being new. Reason: They'll probably believe that because of the bad checks that they are allegedly claiming that you wrote under the alleged previous account, you set up a new account to try to evade their system. Are the companies that denying you, using your SSN or DLN when they run your check through the machine? When the merchant is required by their contract to include the SSN or DLN information, it would possibly be able to match up information even with a new account number. Each merchants contract with Telecheck is different, some have a min amount that they are allowed to approve checks for without running them through the Telecheck machine, and still be covered by Telecheck, others may require SSN, or DLN for approval and verification. Basically, the extra steps probably determines what rate Telecheck charges them, since the more information, and more rigorous the approval process is, the less likely they will run into a problematic check (at least that's the theory).
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck the companies i can't write with are required to enter your DL #. i know chexsystems lists me as jennifer **** (which is not my first name)...i'm wondering if whoevers file mine seems to merged with is the source of the problem? although there was nothing bad on my chexsystems, who knows about TC? what i think i am going to do is say is that I don't know the bank information that is being reported and the last four of my ssn are ****.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck How would you know such info on a check you know nothing about?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck that is why i am writing to tell them that i do not know the check information for which they are reporting. as jam said, what would be the point of giving them my current account information? did i word it wrong in my last post?
Re: Re: telecheck ok - finally got a response from telecheck...it is asking for my 1*drivers license number, 2* my routing 3*and accoun number, 4*and my SSN. jenz ============== 1*Don't have one it was suspended for DUI .LOL 2*What banks routing # do you need-Name & address of bank in question please. 3*For what checking account? 4*Don't have one.Just got my green card. LOL ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> Never read the fine print. There ain't no way you're going to like it.
Re: Re: Re: telecheck LOL 1. i didn't know i needed a DL to drive 2. would that be like Route 66? 3. whats a checking account? 4. i don't have a green card - i'm illegal. do you think they'd buy it?!?!!?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck ok, enough fliring LB! do you think what i suggested sending to them will be sufficient???
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck I think so. After all how could you know the Routing and account number when you don't know what they are reporting.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck jenz... Here are parts of the letter I sent them after they asked for all that personal info (tailored to fit your situation a little better): http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=53715 You DONT want give them your new account # in case they are the CA for this account. this is good that you were able to write checks for awhile, and now you're not again. that's what happened to me, and it makes for more claimable (is that a word? lol) damages because you thought the situation had been resolved after your numerous phone calls, only to be so embarrassed again when you suddenly couldnt write checks again. also shows instability of their entire operation. btw, how's your dad? Hope he's doing ok.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck i freaking hate this website. i just typed out a long post and lost it when i got the usual 'page cannot be displayed'. I'm too mad (and lazy) to try to remember everything and type it out again. jenz, my telecheck thread has a letter i wrote in response to their 'we need your personal info' letter. just tailor it to fit your situation. I hope your dad is doing ok.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck crowmom - i think i'm gonna steal your letter! hope its not copyrighted yet! its great! thanks for asking about my dad - he was diagnosed with lupus and for awhile before the diagnosis, they didnt think he was going to make it because he was so ill. thank god it wasn't cancer. but he is depressed because he will have this for the rest of his life....and of course amidst all of this crap my husband and i seperate. i tell ya, if i can live through all this, i can live through anything. although i do have the loony bin on speed dial just in case!!! LOL!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck ok...weird. the post i thought i lost? its up there now. i think this site is possessed, lol.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: telecheck I have found that most times when I get the "page cannot be displayed" error, the post is really there. Go back twice (the first time takes you to the reply page, which is now blank, the second back takes you to the thread). When you get to the thread page, if your post isn't showing, hit "refresh" and it should be there. There has only been one time that it didn't work for me. Hitting refresh when you see the "page not found" or at the reply screen will probably post it again.
