I get three calls a day from freedom finanicial(some form of that name). For the last month. Its always starts out, we see you have applied for credit,amd your approved for a 2,500 visa or mastercard. The first time i took it all the way up to the point, to the end when they ask for your checking account number and there ls a small fee of 149.95 for this card. I like how they get you all excited, even explaining to you how your card is going to get to you by mail.You will recieve a note from the usps, and then you go pick up your cc. There so full of shit. Well today. get a call about 9:00 am. Some out of it guy. You can tell he is half asleep. Not caring he souds like a robot, not a care at all about presentation. since i get three calls a day from these jerks, i always hang up, when they get to the you have been approved for a 2,500 visa or mastercard. No big deal have hung up at least 30 times in the past month. Well the phone rings again. Now im allitte suprised, since in the past they have never tryed me again that fast. 45 seconds latter. My phone says message. Oh my GOD. im really freaked out now. Im like i hung up, he knows i dont want to be bothered, so im thinking what the hell could this guy have said. Well my JAw dropped to the floor. and i QUOTE " Hey quit being a Big Pussi you Pussi. Pussi. You FU** . i couldnt believe what i heard.
report them to the FCC or file suit against them for harrassment. I saw somewhere on some forum that if they curse and you complain to the FCC that they can have all their phones turned off because cursing over the phone is against FCC regulations. no mercy. You can call the phone company too and they will hook something up to your phone to track the calls. These are scam artists and you have the golden opportunity to put them out of business. If not for your sake do it for those others who have been scammed.
It was scary, you could hear people around him, and he said it in a very scary voice, i was waiting for him to say he was going to Kill me, thats the tone of voice he had. Thats another thing i dont get. They have to get tons of hang=ups a day. Im so suprised this would bother him that much.

GET CALLER ID PLUS (name varies)...it forces people to put their phone number in the phone or it WON'T even ring your phone...and it tells TELE-MARKETERS to HANG UP!!! You can also say if you want to play with them..."REAL" CREDIT CARDS BILL ON THE FIRST STATEMENT, NOT CHARGE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT UP-FRONT~~~"IF I WANTED TO SPEND $150.00 ON A CREDIT CARD IT WOULD BE A AMEX GOLD GOLD REWARDS CARD"
This sounds like a TOTAL SCAM. Take the tape and have a police officer from your local department listen to it, then file criminal charges against these flea bags. This guy sounds like he's off his rocker, and gets off calling women names anonymously from behind a phone.

lesarin, Please do report them to the FTC straight away -- you can submit a complaint online. They are known scams that change their name, usually close to a major company (Capital One -- First Capital and the like), as soon as enough complaints are received and they start to get worried. File with your state's AG as well. Butch dude, What kind of recording device to you use that allows you to download to voicemail? it's digital? My caller id and digi-answering machine just fried itself and the jack with a thunder boom (and NO rain for the power surge). I was happy with the digital but it couldn't download. I want the sassy-101 plug it in and connect the phone model, please! You've shopped around, can you recommend one that's commonly available? Sassy
No Sassy, Tho I do have a special device that allows me to play directly into the phone, all ya need to do is play it back into the phone when your VM prompts you for the message.
At radio shack, you can buy a small cassette recorder for about $30 and what is called the "Telephone Reorder Control". ($10) Model Number: 43-228A VERY simple, just plug it in. AND it's FCC compliant. LOLOL Also, if your recording is to be admissable yes, you need to notify. but otherwise no. And if it is to be admissable it CANNOT be that lick and stick onto your phone type device. It MUST be the plug into your phone device, which this is. hth
