I will likely win an ebay auction for an item and the seller says he accepts payment thru Xcom. Also he says that if I sign up today and pay with my credit card thru xcom I get $5 just for setting up my xcom account. I vaguely remember reading about xcom and want to know if it's a reputable way to pay for things and is it truly free because I don't want any extra charges to appear on my credit card when I pay this way. Please try and answer before tonight because I'll have to pay when I win.
Yes it works great. You can get $5 from their subsidiary (sp) paypal.com, you can get $5 free bucks from payme.com too. X.com checks credit. Paypal.com requires a bank account and visa card. Payme.com requires just a bank account. All give $5 last time i checked. Maybe x.com stopped the $5. i dunno. My order of choice would be: paypal.com x.com payme.com
