I received full and complete validation yesterday :(

Good news is - they sent it CRRR. The pink slip for me to sign, AND the envelope with the green card still attached was in my mailbox. :)

Well, I'm going to pay mine. It is mine. I owe it. I am just stalling for time.

DH's boss is 2 months behind on our paycheck + when he sent us one this month he didn't send $1300 for travel expenses which were on DH's Amex, and those HAD to be paid. Right now I'm just trying to keep my active stuff current.

If I could get the $$ owed, I could pay our 3 chargeoffs and be off and running. My credit repair is stalled!!!!!!!

I fully intend to pay mine, too. Just gonna deal with the OC instead of a CA. Good luck~~

I'm trying Butch. Its a new business in stealth mode and the guy is paying us out of his own pocket. He is a gazillionare that just doesn't understand the plight of the Average Working Joe.

And its somewhat a cultural thing...

    A cultural thing?

The business owner is not American, nor has he ever lived in the US.

In a nutshell, some cultures will pay you, intend to pay you, but you have to keep after them. Its not that they can't or won't---its just the way business is done.

Did you know that monthly bills in MX do not come with a return envelope? The expect that you will have to come in to their office to pay it.

You can't write a check in a grocery store either. Should've seen me walking around with a calculator as I did not like carrying cash there.

They let you pay with a calculator instead? ;)

(Sorry, I couldn't resist... but... um... what *was* the calculator for?)

    Brett:)

A Ha Brett. No check = cash

I didn't want to go over the cash in my wallet. I was also having to convert peso to dollars in my head to check prices.
