I called the CA today and told them I was arranging to file for BK, that my lawyer has yet to decide which chapter, which in case they would either see none or very little of the $$$ they want. Immediately they wanted to arrange a new payment set-up with me!! One that I could afford, not one that they wanted! Thank You! Thank You so much!
Good for you! This tactic works because in the collection industry, people see BK potential all the time. Heck, if you read the intro into the new revisions made to the FDCPA, you'll see that Congress actually cites the new revisions to help curve the rise in BK's! But good for you.
