I converted my Citi AAdvantage to a Diamond Preferred Rewards card. Just like you guys said all I had to do is feign like I was unaware of the annual fee and they bent over backwards to "upgrade me" I also got some more good news and even though I was declined for an AMEX Optima(maybe because the pulled TU)..I was approved for a Platinum Costco Cash Rebate Card and I had 7 inq's showing on EQ at the time.
