As of five minutes ago, I just finished paying off all of my CC debt. Previous Balances: Visa - $1730 M/C 1 - $523 M/C 2 - $243 Today's Balances: Visa - $0 M/C 1 - $0 M/C 2 - $0 Although the figures may seem a bit on the small side for some of you, believe me this was a very huge task for me. I thank you all not because I paid these with a settlement letter, or goodwill.... I thank you all because before finding this board, I really didn't know anything about my credit or know the importance of paying bills on time. This board made me learn to respect money, save money , and pay my bills...for this my FICO and CR has vastly improved. After having an awful past 10 years of bad credit and hiding from creditors, I can now for the first time hold my head up high. This by no way means that I am done, I still have two collections to figure out...but this is by far the biggest step I have taken to date. Thank You again.
Good job! If you intend to keep them open, don't forget to buy at least 1 full tank of gasoline on each one every month, then pay it off right away.
