I've been here for over a year learning this credit game. I started out with scores in the low 500's and to be honest my scores I only currently in the high to mid 500's. When I came to creditnet I only had one goal and that was to repair my credit in order to get a house and with what I learned hear I was able to do that in Feb 28, 2003. However, my 9 year old pontiac sunfire started giving me problems and it was staying in the shop. Each time the bill was around 1000 bucks or more for repairs. I decide to attempt a loan from my credit union that I've been with for a few years and never had the guts to borrow money from. Guess what they approved me for the 20,000 dollars I asked for a car loan with a EQ score of 598. I went to the dealer and used my rebates and gm discount and got me a 2003 Grand AM for 15,850 @ 3.85 for 60 M. car not is around $275.00 bucks. The dealer begged me to let them run my credit and I refused. The car is loaded with everything I wanted the sticker price was over 22,000. I put nothing down because I didn't have too. I still have more to do because I'm paying of my last credit card and still try to get those scores up, but I just wanted to say THANKS!
