By the way, regarding Greg Fisher, don't mistake my providing that background as an endorsement of his actions on this board. Although I personally never had any problem with him at all, there are others who cannot say the same thing. (Moreover, although I won't rehash that history since it wasn't my issue, suffice to say that it had nothing to do with the kind of pay-your-bills-or-not debates which seem to attract you so strongly.)
btw- that's was funny --'humblenarc' lol (geez, let's see how long before this gets shut down.) no, if i was moderator, i would have told you to tone it down, get your facts straight, and/or booted you. Why CCN steve doesn't is beyond me. . . maybe he wants inaccurate advice being passed out on the board. Those who are smart enough to realize it will just eventually move on to a board where the advice is more reliable and this type of silliness isn't tolerated. (wow, it's like deja vu, all over again--yogi berra)
mycroft, i'll answer your questions here. not by email. please do not email me off line, unless you're requesting legitimate help or info. At this point, if CCN steve wants to block my acct. for breaking the TOS, I'm sure he will. No reason for you to explain to me what the TOS is. Thanks anyway. Again, you've purposely given inaccurate info. and if anybody reads the MSN boards, this is an obvious attempt on those boardmembers' part to disrupt this board. Personally, I would like to see some of the older 'vets'who remained on CN to take more responsibility on this board for 'policing' suspect posters instead of, letting them feed misinformation for fear of 'feeding the trolls,' or giving grief to those who are 'policing'

I will respond in a spirit of free discussion and open debate, and maybe one or both of us will learn something in the process. When you say I give inaccurate information and then refuse to say what that is, I call that slander. I ask you again, please stop that. I e-mailed you privately specifically so that the problem could be handled without creating more public spectacle, without involving moderators or board directors. I didn't want to make a complaint or get anyone into trouble. If CCN Steve said anything to you, it was without my knowledge. He did that on his own without my asking. As for policing this board, it seems to me you're policing it for culture, not informational accuracy. If you define a troll as someone who is disruptive, creates controversy and draws the discussions away from the topics at hand, I will say this board has a lot of trolls. They are not the new users who come here with different points of view, they are the old users who attack and create controversy around the new users. That's you. My goal is not to get you in trouble, I don't want CCN Steve to block your account, I don't think you need to be kicked out to make room for me. All I want is the freedom to post questions and give answers without dealing with a lot of harassment and slander.
