Read a post where someone got a platinum offer from C(r)ap1 and someone else suggested calling on the orginal card to find out about combining the offer. I got the same offer the next day and made a call today. Since I'm not at my one year anniversary yet, they couldn't do that much but they did cut my annual fee from $59 to $29 and raved about my payment history to date. I was assured a lot more could be done in Sep so I look forward to turning this bit of lead into pewter. Thanks to the person asking and the person making the suggestion. I would have simply tossed it in the recycle bin if I hadn't read that.
