I saw your post and decided to take a stab at Target. I looked up who they use and Experian is by far my best report. GOT IT!!! Baby credit line, but who CARES! Now, does it count as a dept store card???
Yes, it counts as a deptartment store card. I was very excited to see the approval when I applied yesterday. Experian is my best report as well. My limit is very small too, but I can build it up over time. Congrats!

I'm not sure about your Local Cu but mine here has a loan called the credit builder. How it works is you apply and they give on marginal credit and the loan goes in to an account. The CU pays the payments with it for 12 months and wham you have an installment on your report...
