    Hi,

I'v been lurking here reading different posts. Also over at creditboards. So anyway after reading so many posts about the NFCU and realizing that I am qualified to join due to a family member's membership there I called yesterday and opened up an acct. So happy. They seem like a great CU to do buisness with and they also seem pretty easy to get CC's and loans from.

Also I decided to go and try to get a target card and applied online. To my surprise they approved me for a CC with a $200 CL. I know, nothing to get too excited over but from what I have read that's pretty standard for them.
Other than 2 macy's cards which are both reporting never late and opened in 2004 and 2005. Then I have my verizon phone but they don't seem to report to anyone and now target.

I also have a student loan in great condition. Never late.
That's my oldest acct. I think it's about 7 or 8 years old.

So my baddies are a couple medical collections due to fall off next year and 2010. A utility bill due to fall off next year.

I haven't run my scores yet but I am curious if anyone has any clue as to what my score range might be based on this?

    Thanks.

    Jules.

I would guess that you are in the mid 600 range. Have you since pulled your scores to see.

I usually go with the credit bureau scores and allow for 50 points difference from what a creditor might pull. So if you want a score of 700 then shoot for a score of 750. That ought to cover you when you go for the higher better offers.
