Hi all, just finished replying to Jenz's post on the worth of college... and I was wondering if anyone has been watching this season's The Apprentice? Book smarts vs. street smarts! Who do you think will win? I cast one vote for Kendra... she's surprisingly good!
Kendra is on the book smarts team. It just happened to turn out that the two finalists are from each team, so it really is book vs. street. There's only one more show left for this season and it's on tonight.
E! had a special on it today and i watched it. It is fascinating the hundreds of thousands who applied and what lengths the teams/people will go to in order to get the job time.
Isn't E! great?? The Apprentice has actually gotten a lot better this year. The first season was full of short skirts and low-cut blouses. This season, however, the contestants seemed more serious about the job. The Donald still gets to me sometimes... he's overly dramatic in the board room. I tend to think he's made up his mind before the boardroom but acts like a certain word or look by a contestant in those 5 minutes is what gets him/her fired. And his hair! I won't even go there...
OMG Lisa - you have to watch the E! special the next time it is on. They actually spend HOURS in the boardroom and even the beds have microphones in them so the producers can fuel fires. The producers have been known to not let contenders eat or sleep for long periods of time just to get them cranky. There is one scene where the Donald is outside complaining how windy it is AND HIS HAIR ISN'T MOVING. It is tremendously funny.
Apparently, the Donald's new wife cuts his hair. I wouldn't even know where to start. He's got the ultimate comb over! Wow, NO ONE else has been watching the show???
I know this thread is old but I would like to reply because I love "The Apprentice". I've watched the previous 5 seasons and now I'm watching Season 6. My favorite contestant is Bethenny Frankel from Martha Stewart's The Apprentice.
