I have just been floored. I can't beleive this !!! The courts in my state make you automatically have to pay back child support from date of separation till day of hearing. The total was $2500. The court just imposes this and my argument that I did pay resulted in "If no order was inplace then it was a gift." Not really a problem because she sent a letter to child support enforcement bureau saying I paid that already and not to collect. But now I just got my Equifax and under Lien is my ex-wife for $2500. It was just put on there. Now how can I dispute that? We know Equifax is a bear to work with anyway and of course, there would be a record of it but why in ..(place your own curse words).. would this be a lien.

Well now the child support bureau is advising me that in fact they did have the notorized letter from the ex-wife not to collect or take action on the $2500. They say they will show it released now. GREAT (sarcasm) !!! Another released lien for 7 years. Sometimes I wonder why I even try. Does it even matter if they are released? My ex is going to send me a letter stating that this is wrong and should not have been there to begin with, but I doubt they even look at it. Well, on a good note I got two liens and an old bankruptcy account removed from Experian. But why do I feel like everytime I get something removed from one CRA it just seems to place new ones on the other CRAs? Maybe the Grinch works for CRAs.

No it never ends and it never will so long as we keeping doing business with the credit industry.
As long as we will meekly let them lead us to slaughter butchering us is just what they will continue to do.We plant meekness and get carnage in return.
