Ok people don't flame me for this one but am just a little curious. Does anyone have any info on the all Black Amex card. Not that i am anywhere near being able to get it. Just want to know what the the requirements are and what not as i heard that you can't even apply for it. So if you have any info please due share the knowledge. Thanks
I talked to a friend yesterday after I met a guy last week who had one... I was curious... my friend said she heard that to maintain it you have to spend $250,000 a year on the card. What you have to spend to get an invitation for one I don't know.
It's called the American Express Centurion Card. Someone put one from a cancelled account up on eBay not too long ago, and I saved the picture of it. More about the AmEx Centurion Card: If you search Creditnet with the keyword "centurion" you'll see that there has been quite a bit of discussion in the past here regarding the card -- lots of information -- including a post by someone who even claimed to have acquired the card here. Dogman even had the guts to fake us out one day, lol. Finally, American Express doesn't keep this card a secret. Here's a great AmEx link where they list the benefits here. Re: Re: The Black American Express Card I would rather pay $85.00 for my AMEX GOLD DELTA card...I would not mind a limit of $100,000...but BLACK AMEX is just a "CHARGE CARD"...PAY IN FULL EVERY MONTH...NO EXCEPTIONS... Even though the AMEX GOLD DELTA card interest rate is WAY HIGH @ 14.24%...you can pay interest if needed...
