What's worse than having a judgement on your credit report? How about a judgement for an Addiction counseling company? I need this thing off my credit. Can you imagine applying for a job with this. It was discharged in a BK7. It does state "New Life addiction counseling". Remnants off my past!
Wouldn't that count as medical information? There is a thread going on having to do with medical collections that you might find informative. Says here in the FCRA section 604(g) that the CRAs can't furnish reports that contain medical information without your consent.
I've started to respond 3 times and am still just shaking my head over this one. Wow! I hope you can get some quick resolution with them for deletion. They ought to be ashamed. I would think at the very least they should have used initials or something a bit less inflammatory. Wonder if there are any privacy laws that would prohibit them from reporting their name the way a CA can't use a return address on mail that says "Acme Collection Agency". I wish you well with it.
