Hi all, I desperately need your help, advice, commentsâ?¦ whatever you guy can help me. I got driven so crazy by CA and the university I went many years ago. Back in 2001, CA called me at work to harass and insult, then talked to my co-worker threaten to sue me if I donâ??t call them backâ?¦ I did not know what to do but to call and report it in writing to university who own my perkins loans. Also, I provided her the name and number of my co-worker who got threatened. Anyway, I did not intend to sue the CA for violating my legal rights. I just did not want to deal with the CA and pay 35% collection fees on top of my principle + interest. Therefore, I reported to my university and hope that I would be allowed to make payment arrangement with the university. 2 weeks later, the university called me and said that the only resolution that they could do is to let my loans rehab with the CA. What the heck?â?¦ but I was too busy and tired, so I accepted the propose and started my rehab. I made 4 payments and then I got involved in a horrible situation with my family. I was afraid that I miss paying my payments. Therefore, I immediately sent my payment to CA. Two months later, I went to University to ask for a release on my transcript. I was told that I missed a payment. I found that itâ??s impossible, so I called the university and asked why. She told me that I sent one payment 2 day earlier than beginning of the months; therefore, it was not considered as an unsatisfactory payment. She advised me to call CA and ask for starting overâ?¦ I hate to talk to CA on the phone, so I sent requests for payment history, but never received response from themâ?¦ If I can sue any of them I wouldâ?¦ I found that Iâ??ve been treated unfair from the beginning by both the CA and the university. They caused me so much pain. It is really unfair to me. Other university accept any payment within 15 days of the due date. AMS serving Group accept payment date not more than 20 days from the due date and 15 days after due date. My due date is on the 2nd of the month. Why my university is different and if so, they should have stated in the agreement? Not just assume monthly is have to be in different month? Please helpâ?¦ Thanks!
