You know those satellites thousands of miles above the earth that they use to track
military movements over hostile territories? They can take moment by moment fine detailed
pictures within a few inches of the object. Well, they need to move one of those f**k**s
over here and track that stupid white van to where it returns to after each shooting.

I don't think the person will continue moving too much further south. This will take them
too far out of their comfort zone. If the shooting starts spreading to other states,
this will likely mean it is a more organized, multi-person effort.

The thing that is going on with the cryptic messages being exchanged between the police and sniper is too freaky. And that phone call where the sniper called the police and the police couldn't quite hear what he was saying...

Then the police go in front of the cameras...

"Dear Mr. Crazy Sniper, Please call us back. We experienced testicle difficulties and couldn't make out what you were saying. We would like to talk with you again. Please call. We will treat you to Dairy Queen if you do. Honest!"

Something is all messed up with that story.

Retailers in both states are going to be facing catastrophic losses if they don't catch the person(s) before the end of the year.

However funeral homes seem to be doing quite well these days.

IMO I think it IS terrorist. The defense dept kept saying the terrorists want to go after the US economy, well what a better way than to make people afraid to leave their house. This way the restaurants and stores get barely any business.
I swear I'm not paranoid, but I just keep telling myself that no decent American could do this. Whether it's Taliban garbage or not who knows.

Well, breaking news from Rockville police. The murderers just stated "that your children will not be safe anywhere at any time."

    Who does that sound like?

    Sick bastards.

I am ready for the big boom. I guess I ought to start building the underground bunker.

The shooters (not a sniper) gun is off target now. He is getting gut shots at 50 yards vs head shots before. Most hunters can shoot accurately at 150+ yards. He is really enjoying what is going on. The media is fueling him on. I'm just afraid that he may quit and not be found, or he may stop for a couple of weeks and really raise fear. Charlie

Breeze - i dunno why but something in my gut tells me they're going to catch that sicko in a few days.

In the meantime - as difficult as it is - try not to let it get you down - I know it's easier said than done (I lived in Israel for many years) but hang in there

I truly truly think we are dealing with terrorists. A guy/gal can be totally messed up, but they usually follow a pattern - geographic location, a particular look, age group, etc. These sickos are shooting everyone and anyone (except Asians and Muslims). They are covering large distances and hitting any target that deals with financial/economy.

Plus, their threatening children! Children for goodness sakes!

Call me paranoid, but this baby is planned, or I am imagining the large amount of young Arabian men popping up on Northern VA/Southern MD college campuses in the past 24 months.

Our government needs to wake the hell up.

    fox news report:

The French defense ministry notified Interpol on Monday that a French army deserter and known marksman had gone missing while on vacation in North America.

Fox News learned Monday that the soldier, described as 25 years old and with the first name of Georges, went missing on Sept. 2 after making cash withdrawals on his credit card in the United States.

He had seen active duty as a peacekeeper in former Yugoslavia, and friends characterized him as a secretive, solitary type who had spent a previous vacation alone in the Corsican mountains.

I agree Breeze, there is TOO MUCH information being given from the media. I mean the witnesses, leave them alone!!! I don't think it is very smart to have potential witnesses giving a blow by blow of what little information they have to the media. (Thank goodness some of them have just flat out refused to tell the media what they know)

The incident yesterday, the guy working at the car dealership is giving sensitive information regarding the police to the media. (I have photos of the undercover team, would you like to see., One of the undercover cops was in a Mustang...) Just like I have cable, maybe they should sit back and think that the sniper has cable also. STOP the debates on how he is getting away and etc., YOU(media) just may be giving him ideas!

Just me ranting, because I want this to be over.

I am praying for you Breeze along with everyone in the area.

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the General Lounge? Charlie

My thought is if it's a terrorist it's one that believes in God cause he made reference to God on the Tarot card, right? So, he's an american terrorist or someone who came here and converted?

Dani has a thread started in the General Lounge.

However since this rampage certainly qualifies as
Economic Terrorism and so many people are interested in the subject, I think it is important enough to be in the Credit Talk postings.

I do think that the subject header need to change
    though.

Evertime I see "They may have caught the sniper"
I get hopeful for a moment only to realize this was a originally a posting that was started last week.

    This just occured to me!!!

The "I am God" written on the Tarot Card might not have necessarily been written in English. We may actually be talking the word "Allah" here and they just haven't revealed this information.

He's hardly decent. But he is American. Or any one of hundreds of other serial killers who were/are American. Americans are innately no more decent than any other group of people.
