Well, I fell off (bumped my head, spilled my drink, and got my foot caught in the spokes of the wagon wheel to boot)... Long story short: The rock gods KISS have always been my favorite band (I'm 37, father, husband, and responsible community member--but will still play my air guitar along with my 8 year old twins to "Detroit Rock City" at the drop of a hat)... Well, they have a co-branded platinum card with the dreaded First USA---applied online--got the response "you'll be notified"...it happened so fast, I know they didn't pull the credit that very moment... So, app date: 6/21; pull date: 6/23; called the automated line today "....you'll be notified in 30 days"...etc., etc. EQ: 699 (don't know if it was pulled) EX: 678 (wasn't pulled) TU: 579 (or close), worthknowing: 10 (pulled on 6/23)--no negs either... I don't have a snowball's chance do I? Although I did request a BT for $700 (just to up the ante I suppose)... Why, oh why, did I succumb? Back on the wagon (I'm sitting up front this time--maybe I won't fall off the back when the next temptation arises)... David
David, I so understand. I have to do everything short of cutting of my fingers not to apply for the NHL Colorado Avalanche card!! But, it will be the FIRST thing I do next year!
