I'm new here. I've been reading this site for a few hours and haven't found the answer to my question. I recently got my credit report and there are numerous errors on just my Personal Profile. Including my first name misspelled, wrong place of employment (including a place I worked at 6 years ago), and incorrect address (no apt. number). How do I go about correcting these mistakes? Is there a specific form I can fill out and send them? Another odd thing is under my student loans, Experian and Transunion list 2 accounts and $XX,xxx but Equifax lists 8 accounts and $XX,xxx + $9,000. How do I go about inquiring about that? I don't really even know what it means! Thanks for any help, Matt
Call on the phone and SPELL IT OUT... OR write them a letter or make a copy of the report and note EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG... DON'T GO OVER-BOARD...too much will get you a FRIVOLOUS
