I took a good look at all reports last night to figure out where I should concentrate most of my efforts. Equifax should be looking very good by next Sept if I don't do anything else. That is due to items already deleted and the others will fall off due to age. I will be left with 5 negatives (8 counting the 3 judgements), some chargeoffs that were paid and a few collection accounts. Of course that doesn't mean I am going to sit back and wait - I just know where to put most of my effort now. It's alot of work, but at the same time it is actually exciting knowing that I can make a big difference in my "credit worthiness".

Hey Breana... isn't this kinda fun? :) I think I'm in about the same boat as you are right now... I started about a month ago when I got denied for a mortgage due to an open collection that was incorrectly listed on my reports. I just succeeded in getting the open collection removed, but there's no stopping me now... I've one settlement that I think I've nearly got removed and something like 11 other accounts reporting various late payments that I'm working on. Just last night my wife said that she thinks I'm nuts spending all this time on this stuff. But like I said... it is kinda fun and hey... if it can save money on a low interest rate on our mortgage then she shouldn't complain;)

It is fun isn't it! LOL!!! I am ready to start working on everyones credit reports! LOL!! I started attacking my husbands, and I am after my brother now to! I suppose the fun will stop when I hit a stalemate, but that will just annoy me and make me work at it twice as hard. I know it can be done, it is just battle will work.
