    address.

This is listing on my CR - any ideas as to what this means. I recently moved from a house to an apt. complex.

I'm in a similar situation, having just moved from a house into a rental loft. On EXP, my address is indicated as non-residential. I called EXP, and they said that it's a business address. The CSR went on to explain that the rental company is in the business of renting lofts. I pay them money each month, and they let me live there. Therefore, it's a business address.

    Go figure!

You might be right. I just checked the county records and technically my address is not a recognized address. The land is owned by the apt. company but consists of numerous addresses - each building has a unique addy.

I have the same notation in my CRA file and I live in a single family house which I own.

The city or county or the tax assessor "MIGHT" give you a letter (ON THEIR LETTERHEAD) that says...THE ADDRESS AT 11258 STONE PLACE APT 3 IS AN APARTMENT...IT IS NOT A BUSINESS...signed CITY OF XXXXXXX

BUT THEN THEY DON'T HAVE TO ACCEPT INFORMATION FROM CONSUMERS...EVEN THOUGH IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO NOT ACCEPT IT!!!

They pull out their KEY PHRASE---FRIVOLOUS

I live in a single family home and my address says trade/contractor nonresidential. I have tried to get this fixed BUT they say that since this address was ONCE used as a business address for someone, the notation stays.

We had the same thing on our old home address because when we started our business we used our home address for the licenses.

Any time that address shows up now, it is always with the notation that it is non-residential.

Noe of those explanations work for me. My house is new-ish and I am the sole owner ever. The address itself wasn't even created until my subdivision was platted.

Still, my report says "non-residential address". Meanwhile, I can't get them to remove an address that doesn't even exits on Planet Earth. (Somebody transposed a number). It's my street, city, zip, but there is no such house #, per USPS. I've told them this, but.....(got bigger fish to fry!!)

I lived in a house in the middle of a really nice neighborhood and the people before me took in people for the county to help them get back on their feet and to help their taxes or what not, the county registered the house as a business. When I moved in, they recognized my address as a business address. I never was able to get it fixed the whole 3 years I lived there.
