Doesnt the FCBA only cover revolving lines of credit or open ended accounts? It doesnt cover installment contracts or third party collectors sending out bills. It is pretty useless, just like you said.

How long before a bill is due must it be presented?

Your point is well taken, Mr. Brown, however it in my personal opinion, it boils down to a matter of practicality. Where are you going to find a lawyer willing to take a collection agency to court and sue them for failing to send the consumer a bill within FBPA guidlines after having received the account from the creditor or the creditor to court for failing to bill within FBPA specifications and come out with a couple of hundred bucks for his time and effort or even a pro se litigant bent upon a mission of legal revenge willing to spend the mountain of time required to take the issue to the Supreme Court over a FBCA violation and come up with a $1000 or less for his time and trouble?

That's about like trying to use a .22 rifle to shoot lions with while on a safari in one's back yard.
    Not too realistic.

    Also Off Topic:

I wonder if there is some sort of prize or will confetti fall from the rafters when the 100,000th post goes up some time today or tomorrow?

PBM ought to give us a "prize" as a reward for being so active.

No need for your sarcastic reply Bill.... You should change the THEM to ME! You're a Credit Repair Organization after all.... :)

Understand that it's NOT personal even if you try to make it so with your comments and ANTI BINGO MEMBER signatures (which have been deleted?!?).

I like the links that Bkev has provided! Sure beats paying someone for the same information.

Yeah! For sure. He's preaching to the choir though. I've been saying exactly the same things for a long time now, I'm just not quite the genius he is, so I didn't think of providing the links the same way he has done. I think I'll just wait until he decides to change his links to something new and then use them myself. We wouldn't want a good thing like that to get lost in the shuffle.

Ya gotta give credit where credit is due.

I think Gregory is talking about people like you.... charging $35 per month to violate their rights under the Credit Repair Organizations Act and SPAM us here all the time about how wonderful-perfect and guaranteed CREDITWRENCH is...

    Is This A Credit Issue?

Are delinquent real estate taxes reported to the CRAs?
